Justin Jefferson has just four receptions for a paltry 15 yards over the last two games. That puts even a modest 1,000-yard season in jeopardy for the two-time All-Pro whose first six years in the NFL have been as productive and prolific as anyone to ever play the position.
That’s why the next month could get interesting with Jefferson currently on pace for the lowest output of his career. He has recorded 64 receptions for 810 yards with games against the Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers remaining.
It was a good day on Sunday in terms of being a Vikings fan. JJ and the team had a solid game. No complaints really. The goal now is to keep it up against Dallas which is going to be tough on the road.
